Everyone belongs here

We're committed to making Talmbout accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. This isn't just about compliance — it's about ensuring our platform reflects the full diversity of our community.

Our commitment

We're working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and continuously improving the accessibility of Talmbout. This includes:

  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
  • Screen reader compatibility and proper semantic HTML
  • Sufficient color contrast for readability
  • Alternative text for images and media
  • Resizable text without loss of functionality
  • Clear focus indicators and interactive states

Current status

We're in the early stages of building Talmbout, and accessibility is built into our design from day one. As we launch new features, we test them for accessibility and iterate based on feedback.

Known issues

We're actively working to identify and fix accessibility barriers. If you encounter one, please let us know.

Assistive technologies

Talmbout is designed to work with:

  • Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • Voice recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Screen magnification software

Feedback

We want to hear from you. If you experience accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. Your feedback helps us build a better platform for everyone.

Third-party content

While we control the accessibility of the Talmbout platform, we can't guarantee the accessibility of content posted by users. We encourage our community to create accessible content and provide tools to help.
